Roger OASIS
first of all a big thank You and hats off for the posting.
one can see how well-meant this posting is. very much appreciated. I copied the posting to my blog.
it looks that You are a good stats guy.
the day You took as an example was a very bad day for favs.but this doesn't happen everyday. but I also understand Your point. the problem is that I can'tlower the loss max of 1100 in case of the 600 initial prematch bet.if I lower the initial 600 bet to for example 400 so the loss will be lower but also the winnings in relation to this. it will stay the same by numbers.
the only thing what one could do is to put more thoughts in the selections. but here we are thinking the same as I see. as I am not a tennis expert I take every fav and restricted it only to agiven price range.
writing this I have to say that there is also the possibility totake only the high priced fav. this I need to check if it makes sense, because the winners will be less and I have to compare it to the losers. I think You mentioned it in a posting before. anyway good to see that You found a way to optimize Your strategy.
may I ask what software are You using for the lay of the field?
hats off again for the posting
